SMS Terms and Consent

FirstImpact Med is operated by Firstimpact Med LLC. FirstImpact Med provides post-accident injury intake, physician-reviewed medical evaluation, and case documentation for patients in California.

FirstImpact Med sends recurring, low-volume, non-marketing transactional text messages only after a patient separately and voluntarily opts in. Messages support the patient's intake and case workflow and may include:

• Enrollment confirmations and one-time verification codes
• Secure intake, portal, or account links
• Intake and document-completion reminders
• Attestation and lien-signature reminders
• Payment reminders and case-status notifications

Message frequency varies based on case activity. Message and data rates may apply. Text messages do not include diagnoses, treatment details, marketing, or promotional content. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Patients may begin intake at app.firstimpactmed.com. The contact form asks for a mobile number and presents a separate, optional SMS checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default. A patient must select it and submit the form to consent to text messages.

The checkbox disclosure states:

FirstImpact Med case texts (optional). Transactional intake and case messages, including secure intake and portal links, verification codes, intake and document reminders, payment reminders, and case-status updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not required for care or service.

The form links to the FirstImpact Med Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Patients may continue intake when they leave the checkbox unchecked.

Patients may also begin intake by calling FirstImpact Med at (888) 502-3717. Before sending any text message, the intake staff member reads the following disclosure and asks for a yes-or-no answer:

FirstImpact Med, operated by Firstimpact Med LLC, can send you recurring transactional text messages about your intake and case. Message frequency varies based on your case activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent is optional and is not required to receive care, use the portal, create an account, or complete a transaction. Do you agree to receive these text messages, yes or no?

Only an explicit "yes" results in enrollment. If the patient says no or does not answer, FirstImpact Med does not enroll the number or send a text message. The patient may continue intake without consenting to SMS.

After consent, FirstImpact Med sends this confirmation:

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. FirstImpact Med may send one final message confirming the opt-out and will not send further SMS messages unless the recipient voluntarily opts in again. Supported opt-out keywords include STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT.

A recipient who previously opted out may reply START to enroll again.

FirstImpact Med records the mobile number, consent timestamp, consent source, disclosure version, and telephone call identifier when applicable. We use this information to document consent and operate the transactional messaging program.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
